Maija Kupris

Hi. My name is Miss Maija. I made and sold my art when I was younger at the Gallery of Wearable Art in NYC, where I also grew up. I have also taught art in a Montessori school and in Upper Nyack Elementary as a long term substitute.

As well as teaching art, I have a degree in Music Composition from Purchase and went to LaGuardia HS for Piano.

I composed my first Musical which was produced Off-Broadway and toured England at 16 with the Bus and Truck company of LaGuardia. My second Musical was produced Off-Broadway at 19 in Manhattan.

I especially love working with children and finding out what kind of art materials and/or mediums they enjoy expressing themselves in without judgement.
