Leeasha Burns

Born and raised in Nyack, Leeasha is a New York University graduate now pursuing a Master’s Degree in Inclusive Elementary Education from Teacher’s College Columbia University. Leeasha supports our wonderful teaching artists in planning and leading activities, ensuring safety and wellness precautions, communicating with parents, connecting with campers, and carrying forward our inclusive environment wherever we are. She appreciates that working with kids allows her to witness the incredible power of their creativity. The joy of movement activities, their curiosity in nature and the self expression that is possible through art. Leeasha feels passionate about fostering this natural creativity as our campers discover their talents, grow in confidence, develop lifelong skills, build community and celebrate the summer!
