Discover the joy of creativity at Creative Arts Workshop! Serving Rockland County since 2020, we offer a variety of arts programs for children and families. From after school programs to summer camps, there's something for everyone.

CAW believes that no family shall be denied our arts-based services based on financial reasons. You may request a pay what you can rate or full scholarship to any of our after school programs, special events, holiday camps, or summer camps. Email info@arts-workshop.com to request. This is the Tony Garreffa Living Through the Arts Scholarship, which is supported by CAW tuition revenue and donations from people who believe in the mission and the healing power of the arts. CAW Open House Saturday, May 23, 2026 9:30-11:30am Mark your calendar!

CAW has been servicing the community since 2020 and would love for you to learn more about us! Our open house is a great opportunity to check out the studios, meet with our teaching artists, see the types of programs we offer, and a q and a with the owner. Light refreshments available and you are welcome to pop-in anytime between 9:30-11:30pm. No RSVP necessary.

CAW Annual Musical Call for Youth Performers

CAW Young Bohemians Theatre Troupe - Annual Musical Year 4!

CAW has now produced "Really Rosie" in 2024, "School House Rock Live" in 2025 and "A Year With Froh & Toad" in 2026. Our next cast will start in September of 2026 and Perform at the "Little Theatre" at RCC Hospitality & Culinary Arts Center in March of 2027. The YBTT is limited to 10 seats to ensure an engaged and unique theatre making experience for the kids and families. You can sign up your child by registering for the YBTT troupe program on our aftenoon arts programs page.

2026/2027 school year After School Arts at CAW PRE-REGISTRATION SAVE YOUR SEAT

After school arts at CAW is an experience for kids to spend their after school hours in a creative and fun environment that looks through the lens of each special child. Our team is a caring group that leads as mentors, creative guides, and family partners. Sign up for 1-5 days a week at CAW, but RSVP now to make sure you save your seat on the shuttle or bus from VCE, LIBERTY, or UNES. Drop-off also available.

Holiday Camps

School closed or closing early for a half day? No worries. CAW is here with our Holiday Camps to save the day. With over 20 school year holiday camps, we have parents covered.

Saturday Arts Programming at CAW

Saturday is NOW open at CAW!

For the cooking creatives:

Ages 6-10 can join our brunhc themed weekly cooking class with Mr. Joe. Think French Toast to Croque Madames!

For ages 7-11 we are offering a series of workshops all about Sewing, Design, Fashion, Upcycling, and all things creative! This series will culminate with a Fashion Show and Boutique!

Registeration for the Fall of 2026 will open in June 2026.

Birthday Parties

CAW knows how to party and also how to make it totally easy for the parents! Our parties have received GLOWING reviews from kids and parents alike!

Small Group Summer Camps

Children thrive in many styles of environments, CAW knows this and is why we keep our camps small, intentional and fun. Whether studio & downtown Nyack based campus or Oratamin Swim Club & Nature Reserve Camp, we have an option perfect for your child.

Special Events

Open House at CAW for new families. Interested in our after school programs, camps, or events? Join us for our Spring open house on Saturday, May 5 anytime between 9:30-11am. Studio tours, teaching artist meet and greets, Q&A with owner, Joe Garreffa, and refreshments!

6th Annual Youth Makers Market Holiday Bazzar & Open House

Youth ages 4-18 can apply for a booth at the market for a $30 booth fee. This fee will reserve your spot and provide a wonderfully robust spotlight for your art work!

Each year our market boasts about 2 dozen local youth makers and their handmade artwork, jewelry, baked goods, crafts, clothing and accessories, and more!
