Discover the joy of creativity at Creative Arts Workshop! Serving Rockland County since 2020, we offer a variety of arts programs for children and families. From after school programs to summer camps, there's something for everyone.

CAW believes that no family shall be denied our arts-based services based on financial reasons. You may request a pay what you can rate or full scholarship to any of our after school programs, special events, holiday camps, or summer camps. Email info@arts-workshop.com to request. This is the Tony Garreffa Living Through the Arts Scholarship, which is supported by CAW tuition revenue and donations from people who believe in the mission and the healing power of the arts. Fall after school arts pre-registration is now open. RSVP your seat for CAW after school arts with transportation options from UNES, VCE, and Liberty! Get your seat today

Summer weeks at Oratamin Swim Club, CAW Studio, and Afternoon Arts with Nursery School of the Nyacks is quickly filling up! Get your weeks.

In memory of Tony Garreffa, we offer sliding scale and full scholarship to any family for any programming at CAW. Our mission to always say YES! This June we are raising funds for this program and we hope you can help us out with a contribution.

CAW Open House Saturday, May 31, 2025 9:30-11:30am Mark your calendar!

CAW has been servicing the community since 2020 and would love for you to learn more about us! Our open house is a great opportunity to check out the studios, meet with our teaching artists, see the types of programs we offer, and a q and a with the owner. Light refreshments available and you are welcome to pop-in anytime between 12:15-1:30pm. No RSVP necessary.

After School Arts with Transportation from UNES, VCE, or LIBERTY

Transportation to CAW from Nyack Elementary Schools is a super helpful option for parents. CAW enrolls throughout the school year. Learn more and enroll!

2025/2026 school year After School Arts at CAW PRE-REGISTRATION SAVE YOUR SEAT

After school arts at CAW is an experience for kids to spend their after school hours in a creative and fun environment that looks through the lens of each special child. Our team is a caring group that leads as mentors, creative guides, and family partners. Sign up for 1-5 days a week at CAW, but RSVP now to make sure you save your seat on the shuttle or bus from VCE, LIBERTY, or UNES. Drop-off also available.

Holiday Camps

School closed or closing early for a half day? No worries. CAW is here with our Holiday Camps to save the day. With over 20 school year holiday camps, we have parents covered.

Next Kids Night Out Friday, May 9 with Climb Out Rockland

Each evening includes popcorn, take-home craft, dance club, pizza party and cartoons. Drop off starts at 6pm and pick up at 8:30pm

Run a PTA or Youth Group? Schedule your own KNO to raise funds for your group! CAW shares 50% of ticket sales with your group.

CAW only operates KNO when scheduled as a fundraiser.

CAW knows how to party and also how to make it totally easy for the parents! Our parties have received GLOWING reviews from kids and parents alike!

Small Group Summer Camps

Children thrive in many styles of environments, CAW knows this and is why we keep our camps small, intentional and fun. Whether studio & downtown Nyack based campus or Oratamin Swim Club & Nature Reserve Camp, we have an option perfect for your child.

Special Events

Open House at CAW for new families. Interested in our after school programs, camps, or events? Join us for our Spring open house on Saturday, May 5 anytime between 9:30-11am. Studio tours, teaching artist meet and greets, Q&A with owner, Joe Garreffa, and refreshments!

Call for YOUTH artwork

CAW is excited to announce our first call for youth artwork. The theme is, "Kind and Open Communication" All submissions will be featured in the CAW lobby exhibit, created as a poster, and invited to a cheese and juice reception. One lucky artist will have their design printed on CAW tote bags as part of our June fundraiser for CAW's sliding scale and full scholarship mission to always say YES.
